Bartars statement:
"The last weekend's events, when we were forced to forfeit two important matches for reasons beyond our control have made me to reconsider my whole stand towards competitive Starcraft. It was the last drop that made the cup full. In my opinion, the current competitive scene is relatively unorganized, unprofessional and doesn't provide any form of security for the competitors. Unjust incorporated rules, freewins, hacking, biased admins, favouritsm and an unhealthy established status quo are the common features in the current gaming of the highest level. This is not abnormal since our admins are youngsters and almost all the top teams prefer to use low means in order to secure wins. The whole past year i had to cope up with all that, fight against unjustice and corruption. And even sometimes i had to defend against bm with bm, something i deeply regret. As a result, i was misjudged and mispresented to the general public. Nevertheless, i never gave up while with hard work and a lot of time i managed to maintain my team in the elite and continue its long history. However, due to my madly real-life rythms i no longer have the time or motivation to continue running the team in the highest level. Because this not only requires gaming skill but also getting involved in pointless debates and immature fights. We can no longer have the perfection i want in every aspect of my projects. So, i have decided to change the team's philosophy. We will no longer aim for the top but rather play for personal entertainment. The current roster will be released and team will be transformed into a clan of guys seeking only pure gaming fun instead of money or a gaming career. Sadly, we will leave the Excello organization as we will no longer be able to fullfill their expectations. Since January 16, 2007 they were our home and i was very proud to be a part of this evergrowing power in world e-sports. I want to thank them for their support all this time and i wish they can find another sc squad to continue with. As for my team, it will continue its walk as AFM, a walk that started at August 2004 and never ended. It will end only when sc dies."
Best Regards
